Trust Your Gut
We have all heard these 3 words. Trust your gut. I never could figure out what my gut was. The moment I felt something was off my mind would chime in and tell me nothing is off. It turns out that my mind was conditioned from years of voicing myself when I felt something was off by being told that I was wrong or that what I felt wasn’t real. Each time that happened I was actually always on point but those around me didn’t want me seeing what I knew to be true. I think that when we are conditioned to dial down those feelings they don’t actually go away they just get louder and louder. We get unhappier and feel alone and confused. I am reminding myself again here, openly and vulnerably that you are your greatest friend, teacher and advocate. You lead by your example and that is the same with the horses. They do not have words. They rely solely on body language and energy. They feel the truth and they feel the lies. We have that same ability yet language has the ability to confuse all that. You know when someone says one thing but their actions are showing you something totally different. Look at the actions and you will know what is truly happening.
